MUD RUN FUNDRAISER EVENT WAIVER FORM
1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian if the participant is a minor), acknowledge and understand that participation in the Flemington Mud Run Fundraiser Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, exhaustion, and property damage (clothing, shoes etc). I recognize that these risks may arise from the nature of the event, the environment, or the actions of others.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I agree to assume all risks associated with my participation in the Mud Run Fundraiser Event. This includes, but is not limited to, any risks associated with the physical challenges of the event, interactions with other participants, and conditions of the terrain. I understand that I am participating voluntarily and that I am fully responsible for my own safety and well-being.
3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Landowner, Organisers, Sponsors, and all affiliated parties, including their officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind, whether known or unknown, that may arise from my participation in the event. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
4. MEDICAL CONSENT
If I am a participant under the age of 18, I confirm that I have consulted with a qualified medical professional to ensure that my child is physically and mentally capable of safely participating in the event. I understand and accept that the event organisers are not responsible for any medical treatment or emergency services that may be required.
5. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA CONSENT
I grant permission for the event organisers and their agents to capture photographs, video recordings, or other media of me (or my child, if applicable) during the event. I consent to the use of these images and recordings for promotional, advertising, or other purposes related to the event, without compensation or further approval required.
6. RULES AND REGULATIONS
I agree to abide by all event rules and regulations and to follow any instructions given by event officials. I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from the event.
7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
I have read this waiver form and understand the information it contains. By signing it, I agree to the terms and accept the risks involved in participating in the event. I understand that this means I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to make legal claims related to the event
